Impressions of the first day

Quite vivid discussions took place on the first testbed day. The following pictures illustrate this. They show Tomas presenting the principle basics on forecasting severe convection as well as the work of the two groups on the severe weather situation of the last weekend.

12 people from different countries in Europe and Rich Thompson from NOAA build this week’s Testbed group at the ESSL Research and Training Centre in Wiener Neustadt, the 5th edition of the ESSL Testbed.
