ESSL, more concretely the association “European Severe Storms Laboratory – Science and Training” that is responsible for the ESSL Research and Training Centre in Wiener Neustadt (Austria), yearly receives public funding for it’s non-profit research activities under the public service contract K3-F-190/013-2023 (Science Support of the Government of Lower Austria) for the years 2024 to 2028.
