ESSL, more concretely the association “European Severe Storms Laboratory – Science and Training” that is responsible for the ESSL Research and Training Centre in Wiener Neustadt (Austria), yearly receives a certain amount of public funding for it’s non-profit research activities under the public service contract K3-F-190 (Science Support of the government of Lower Austria).
In addition our training and ESSL Testbed activities are supported by the convention and congress support of the provincial government of Lower Austria.
