{"id":2312,"date":"2016-11-30T16:47:44","date_gmt":"2016-11-30T15:47:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.essl.org\/cms\/?p=2312"},"modified":"2016-11-30T17:13:19","modified_gmt":"2016-11-30T16:13:19","slug":"ecmwf-new-essl-member","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.essl.org\/cms\/ecmwf-new-essl-member\/","title":{"rendered":"ECMWF new ESSL member"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecmwf.int\/\" target=\"_blank\">ECMWF<\/a> and ESSL enter into a new stage of partnership: on 22 November 2016 the\u00a0European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts officially became a full institutional member of the European Severe Storms Laboratory.<\/p>\n<p>After increasing informal cooperation over the past years this step will facilitate a close collaboration in a number of fields in the future, like in the exploitation of the European Severe Weather Database ESWD.<\/p>\n<p>The ESSL now has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.essl.org\/cms\/about-us\/current-essl-members\/\">13 full institutional members<\/a>, most of them national weather services.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecmwf.int\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2317\" src=\"https:\/\/www.essl.org\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/ECMWF-1024x184.png\" alt=\"ecmwf\" width=\"201\" height=\"44\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1649\" src=\"https:\/\/www.essl.org\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/essl_logo_large_newcolor-1024x637.jpg\" alt=\"essl_logo_large_newcolor\" width=\"116\" height=\"75\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ECMWF and ESSL enter into a new stage of partnership: on 22 November 2016 the\u00a0European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts officially became a full institutional member of the European Severe Storms Laboratory.
