Scope<\/strong><br>This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and representatives of ESSL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.\u00a0General Principles<\/strong><br> \u2022 Employees must act with integrity and avoid conflicts of interest.<br> \u2022 Bribery in any form is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Gifts and Entertainment Guidelines<\/strong><br> \u2022 <strong>Acceptable Gifts<\/strong>: Employees may accept small, non-cash gifts (e.g., promotional items) valued under \u20ac 50, provided they are not intended to influence business decisions.<br> \u2022 <strong>Unacceptable Gifts<\/strong>: Cash, loans, or gifts of significant value that may create the appearance of improper influence are strictly forbidden.<br> \u2022 <strong>Entertainment<\/strong>: Employees may accept or provide reasonable entertainment (e.g., business meals) if it is modest, infrequent, and directly related to business.
