The winter storms are rarely observed in Poland. Modern remote sensing techniques give a new possibilities to known much more details connected with that kind of weather phenomena.
On 12 February, 2002 winter storm developed over Poland. This paper contain the whole observational dataset for this event, including data from :
• satellites;
• radar;
• radiosondes;
• numerical models;
• lightning location systems;
• surface observations.
