This social event is not included in the Conference Fee and costs €62 Euro per participant.

Terms and conditions:

Paid conference fees cannot be reimbursed under any circumstance. Non-attendance or other reasons on the side of the participant cannot be accepted. No-show due to force majeure or other unexpected reasons on the side of the organizer do not allow for reimbursement either. Consequential costs caused by the cancellation of the conference or parts thereof cannot be accepted by the organizers.

Following the payment, the participant is advised to save and/or print the automatically displayed preliminary receipt for reference, shown on the webpage or given on the bank account. Due to the legal nature of credit card and wiring payments (e.g. time limits for withdrawal apply), a formal written receipt can only be provided to the participant at the conference site and cannot be certificated before or after the conference. In case there are any inconsistencies among listed prices or calculation errors, the prices on http://www.essl.org/ECSS/2013/onlineforms/registration_form.htm are the binding ones.

The conference fee covers and includes the entire scientific conference programme, the Conference Dinner and Icebreaker. Payment of the conference fee constitutes a sale between you and the European Severe Storms Laboratory (ESSL). All other services and products on this page are offered by the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI). Purchase of these services constitutes a sale between you and FMI, with ESSL merely acting as an intermediary. The law of Finland will be applied to local services included into the social program. FMI will assume no liability in case the services cannot be delivered due to a Force Majeure situation or other similar unexpected obstacle that is even partly out of FMI's control. FMI will assume no liability of passenger transportations. Transportation companies have that liability which will be defined by law and the companies' general terms and conditions. The total liability of FMI will in all cases be limited to the amount paid by the customer.
